Eye Navi, a mobility support app for the visually impaired, is scheduled to begin providing voice evacuation guidance in conjunction with the disaster prevention app "National Evacuation Shelter Guide" from April 2026.
First Media Corporation, the developer of the "National Evacuation Shelter Guide," announced on December 9, 2025, that its disaster prevention information app, "National Evacuation Shelter Guide," has been equipped with a new blind mode feature that allows visually impaired people to operate the app via voice.
This feature is compatible with iOS's VoiceOver and Android's TalkBack, allowing you to check disaster prevention information and search for evacuation shelters by voice.
Additionally, in April 2026, we plan to provide a voice navigation function to evacuation shelters in collaboration with "EyeNavi," a walking support app for the visually impaired developed and provided by our company.
This will create a system that can further support the safe evacuation of visually impaired people in the event of a disaster.
We will continue to strengthen our collaboration with related companies to realize disaster prevention and transportation support that leaves no one behind.
